The Beach Report The market in general has experienced an influx of the top end with developers selling their properties at the 60-100 mill mark. It appears the developers are local and HK based from the banking world. There is still the follow through from the Tsunami still fresh in peoples minds which is continually filtering Phuket investors large and small to our shores. Beach prices are at ridiculous levels, we were recently quoted 33 mill baht for a 1 rai at Choengmon! but there are little sales. As we have been saying for a long time the smaller buyers are looking for bargain beachland to build their dream homes upon and this you will find in Koh Phangan(6 mill/rai) and Khanom(2 mill/rai) for direct beachfront land. The luxury houses seem to selling easily in this market as long as the prices are within market reach. The report is written every 2 months for your information.
