As predicted in Feb., Samui’s market is rising again. Record prices have been set in Baan Taling Ngam at 10 MB/rai on the beach. There are private homes now being listed in Bang Po at 20 MB+. Buyers are mainly English (strength of £), and overseas investors (HK and Sing airport link). Bargain hunters, look in the Phang Ka, Thong Krut Bay area. RDI Estate near sold out, phase 2 about to commence, Samui Beach Village is a new beautiful development. The Palms at Bang Po, good progress, good seaviews towards Koh Phangan. Baan Laem Noi project, Bang Po, value at 5.9 MB/house on the beach. Record sales in mountain land in Bang Po and Chaweng at 5 MB per rai, but seaview bldg blocks obtainable at Chaweng, 1 MB.
