The
Report this month notes Chaweng hills
district is being developed rapidly, prices 3 Mill Baht with exc views.
It's been slow to develop in the past because of unsuitable titles or
lack of roads, this however is changing. Strong growth of Ring Road
properties, Chaweng reaching saturation point. Thong Krut, Phang Ka, Hua
Thanon moving with the bargain hunters, as low as 5 Mill per rai. Some
investors have seen 100% return in two to three months. Big Buddha
estate is developing nicely with some recent sales at 11.5 to 13 Mill.
Overall island house sales, 10 to 20 Mill Baht good. The airport we're
expecting, appears not to be going ahead at present, but the one at Koh
Phangan looks like it is.
Summary: Land bargains are in the
South, however check the internet as a guide.
